BIRT Maven Plugin project implements integration of Eclipse BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) report generation into Maven2 build process. It can enable you to design your custom reports (eg. release notes, change log, project metrics and their trends, ...) using BIRT designer and generate them during Maven build so they can be packed and published together with other build artifacts.
